You will handle pre-silicon firmware development and validation for some of the most complex SoCs in the industry. You will develop device drivers & test plans for various peripherals, and will be responsible for driver development, test application development, functional testing and system level validation. You will also have an opportunity to work on other platform software components like porting & optimization of middleware, BSP development and system integration.

Requirements:

• More than one year of driver development experience in Linux, VxWorks or DSP/BIOS
  
• Experience in development & execution of test plans
  
• Very good in C and 32 bit processor architecture
  
• Domain knowledge about peripherals like UART, I2C, ATA, USB, PCI or GBE
  
• Exposure to Test Automation is a plus
  

• Strong experience in Embedded Linux, Networking and Chip Bring-up
  
• Expertise in Embedded Linux, GBE, PCIe, USB, MIPS, PowerPC
  
• Experience in C/C++, assembly language, software debuggers, emulators and logic analyzers
  
• System knowledge of L2, IP & MPLS forwarding technologies and experience in Linux kernel
  
• Good understanding of other platforms & peripherals: VxWorks, ARM, Audio, Video, WiFi
  
• Prior work experience in fast-paced services and solutions organization will be a great plus
  

• 7 to 10 Years of experience working in the Embedded domain, out of which at least 3-4 years in US (or outside India)
  
• Extremely good customer focus and passion to make project Successful
  
• Good communication, Fast learner and on-site champion for multiple projects
  
• Acting as a pre-sales engineering and post-sales services/solutions team support member
  
• Working with practice head to make sure long-term strategy and viability of business objective is achieved
  
• BSEE/CS is required but a MSEE/CS is preferred
